Residential unit of Equestrian dressage centre

The commission was to design small though spacial and comfortable house for a couple. Designed house was supposed to be residential unit of newly built equestrian stage centre. Refurbished from former farm building- livestock barn. Client wanted to preserve stone walls (sink in mortar boulders were found to be original and ornative) but still achieve modern look architecture fitting remained buildings. Additionally we wanted to provide division from common areas of equestrian centre and ensure some privacy for the owners. That was attain by half hided terraces with the view for hoses parkour and green paddocks, long shed roofing planned as a double garage, existing and planned greenery.
